Marriage and Family Therapist
Erin is a therapist at the Center for Developing Minds providing children, teens, and their
families with counseling services. With more than 15 years of experience,
Erin approaches therapy from a strengths-based, client-centered orientation. Depending on
the need, she employs techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, narrative
therapy, ecotherapy, mindfulness, non-violent communication and somatic therapy. Erin enjoys
working with diverse clients, including blended/nontraditional families, and the LGBTQI community.
She prioritizes collaboration with families, schools and community resources to treat the
whole client, helping your family handle issues related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, high-functioning
autism, as well as conflict, grief or transitions.
Prior to joining the clinical team at the CDM, Erin had a private psychotherapy practice and
worked at the Northeast High School Teen Wellness Center, both in Philadelphia. She also served as a wilderness
therapist in North Carolina and Colorado, a certified elementary and secondary school counselor
in Pennsylvania and California, and is a certified yoga instructor.
Erin is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned a M.S. in Counseling from
California State University, East Bay, and holds a B.S. in Ecology from the University of California
at Santa Barbara. Erin speaks intermediate Spanish.
